Key Assessment: Technology Integration Unit
Reflection
The technology integration unit gave me the rare opportunity to work with a group of students who were musically and artistically inclined. It also provided me with the chance to collaborate with another teacher outside of my own classroom. Often we are focused on our own students, and this unit allowed me to see collaborative teaching from an aspect I had not before.

Task 1: Collaborative Unit
Reflection
The collaborative unit taught during my practicum was much more elaborate than the technology integration unit. I was able to take things I had learned from the previous unit, and apply them to this one. For that reason I was able to create a much more technologically rich lesson than the previous one, and I was able to help classroom teachers cover more ground on the given topic. This allowed them to focus more specifically on their grade level standards, while I focused on the information literacy AASL standards. More information, and photos from the Night at the Museum can be found on my blog post.
