Task 1: Professional Development on Google Drive
Reflection
During my practicum, administration asked me to develop a workshop on the use of Google Drive. The site had decided to transition lesson plans onto Google Drive, but had many teachers who were unfamiliar with the platform. Due to this, there had been some problems with the Google Drive rollout. They asked me to teach a workshop where teachers could familiarize themselves with basic Google Drive tasks, as well as work on any previous problems they had while submitting lesson plans.

Reflection
For the distance learning module, I felt it was most beneficial for the sites I served to create short step by step modules of items covered so staff members who did not attend the training could easily go through items covered, and also provided those who attended a means of refreshing their memory. These modules were displayed on the web 2.0 tool I created for my primary site (as seen below), so that all sites could benefit from the training.

Task 3: Web 2.0 Site
Reflection
The web 2.0 tool I created is the iGould website for students, teachers, and parents. This has been one of the most beneficial tasks completed during my practicum as I continue to use the site in my classroom today. I also continue to extend the use of the site, now focusing on the teacher and parent aspects of the site, as well as updating the student side with current material.

Capitol Tech 2010
Coastal Middle Ed Tech Conference 2011 & 2012
Week of the Young Child 2012
Reflection
The presentations above were presented at various technology conferences over the past few years. During each presentation, I created a wiki so participants could take part in the discussion or activities I led in the session instead of taking notes. Attendees could then review and use the tools and websites on the wikis when they returned to their own classroom.
